Compliance Manager for a Web3 Solutions Provider

A leading web3 solutions provider is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager in the exciting world of crypto and web3.

Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance Management: Ensuring the company adheres to all applicable local and international regulations, including financial, data privacy, anti-money laundering (AML), and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements specific to blockchain and Web3 environments.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying potential compliance risks related to the company’s operations, products, and services, particularly those unique to the decentralized nature of Web3 technologies, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Policy Development and Implementation: Creating, updating, and enforcing internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure all operations align with legal and regulatory standards, including those governing digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
• Training and Awareness Programs: Lead the development and delivery of compliance training programs for employees, ensuring all staff understand and comply with relevant regulations and internal policies related to Web3 technologies.
• Audit and Monitoring: Conduct regular audits and monitoring activities to ensure ongoing compliance, address any issues promptly, and prepare the organisation for external audits or regulatory inspections related to its Web3 operations.

Who are we looking for?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced compliance degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years in compliance or regulatory roles, with experience in fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency sectors.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML, KYC, data privacy, and financial regulations specific to crypto and Web3.
• Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement compliance policies, conduct risk assessments, and lead training initiatives.
• Adaptability: Ability to navigate a fast-evolving regulatory landscape and address compliance challenges unique to decentralized technologies.
