About the Job:

Title: Automation QA Engineer
Location : Pune

We're looking for an Automation QA Engineer with previous experience of working on software products with a focus on Web Platforms, Websites and Mobile Apps. A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required.

As a member of the Tech Alchemy team, you will be exposed to exciting startup projects across many industries such as Finance, Health, Hospitality, Agriculture, and others. Most startup products vary in scope and key business goals with stakeholders are often open to developmental ideas. You should combine technical, communicative, and analytical skills and also enjoy mentoring junior staff, code reviewing, and engineering culture.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for delivering the highest quality projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Find and track issues during testing, work with developers to understand and fix them, and check that the fixes work properly.

• Developing and executing Manual and Automation test cases.

• Analyze test results and recommend improvements to the team and corrective actions required to ensure delivery of a high-quality standard.

• Understanding of test automation frameworks to provide automated test reports

• Create and execute E2E Web, Android and iOS Automation test scripts and generate reports.

• Maintain and improve testing tools, test data, documentation and test reports.

Must Have:

• 3+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a track record of performing Manual and Automation testing.

• Strong skills in designing, implementing and maintaining web and functional automated test scripts using test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).

• Strong skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining Mobile application (Android and iOS both) automated test scripts using test automation frameworks (e.g. Appium).

• Expertise in various software testing methodologies, including Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, Integration, Cross browser and compatibility testing.

• Experience with API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured or Swagger)

• Familiar with Agile process via JIRA.

• Experience with Android/iOS mobile application testing

• Advanced problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Proficiency in defect identification, reporting, tracking, and management using bug tracking systems.

• Experience in conducting Performance testing using JMeter or other tools.

• Good communication skills

Nice to have:

• Familiar with Git and source code control.

• Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins.

• Implement strategies for managing test data effectively in complex testing scenarios.

• Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Familiar with Blockchain concepts

• Experience in security testing concepts

• Understanding of UX testing principles and the ability to evaluate software usability.
